‘Nothing is swifter than the years’. Inspired by Orpheus’ Ovid's Metamorphoses which tells the story of the birth of Adonis, who quickly grows to manhood, and becomes the lover of Venus. The drawing invites the viewer to reflect about how nothing stands the test of time and about the temporary nature of all civilizations.
